Bleach Manga 401 review

DEICIDE 3

The conversation continues between Aizen and Ichigo's dad, Isshin Kurosaki. In this chapter the the true nature of the Hogyoku is revealed. The reason I got in so late to review this is because there isn't too much to say. It's one of those monologues you get from villains. Aizen reveals that the Hogyoku's true power was not to eliminate the boundary between hollow and shinigami, but to grant a persons wish but it's limit is that the wish must be within possible means. And now he's using it to make himself a god. (Yawn!)
Like we haven't heard this motive from other villains before. I should post something one of these days about Anime and Manga Villains who wanted to be a god. It's just so cliche now.

The monologue was broken off when Ichigo came flying through from Gin's attack.

This is my favorite picture in the chapter. Reminds me of the good old days when Bleach wasn't just all about battles after battles. Before they all went to soul society. Bleach had this light humor and drawing we'rent too serious. Kinda missed those times.

Aizen starts sparking up with what looked like bolts of lightning from his body. Then a shot passes through Aizen from behind. He seemed surprised by this but it he wasn't even moved from his place. The shot came from an elevated level. From Urahara Kisuke!!

It was about time he showed up. Almost all the character have already gathered and showed up in this arc. Even Ichigo's dad. It was only a matter of time before Urahara showed up. The Hogyoku was his creation after all. He must feel some responsibility about it. What can Urahara do now? Did he invent another Hogyoku to counter the one Aizen has? Not much action on this chapter but I'm excited with the next since Urahara-san is one of my favorite characters in the series. Second only to Kenpachi ofcourse. Bwahahaha!
